Hospital Cladding and Lead Abatement

Hospitals & Health Care

Before painting: hospital concrete wall with an exterior steel staircase and peeling blue metal cladding
After painting: hospital side elevation finished in bright white, from the street

A hospital engaged us to resolve coating failures on metal cladding and address lead paint on a handrail requiring abatement. The cladding was vapour blasted and primed with a bonding system, while the handrail was safely abated and primed with epoxy. All surfaces were finished with a light industrial semi-gloss enamel, resulting in a clean, durable, and well-adhered finish suitable for a health care environment.

Hospital Interior Refresh

We have an ongoing partnership to refresh a large health care facility, completing work across a wide range of areas including labs, wards, hallways, staircases, parkade, washrooms, treatment rooms, patient rooms, and more. Our primary challenge on these projects is completing all work while minimizing any impact on staff, patients, and day-to-day hospital operations. Careful planning, coordination, and flexible scheduling allow us to deliver high-quality finishes in highly sensitive, active health care environments.

Extended Care Exterior

This long-term care centre in the Lower Mainland required a full exterior refresh due to aged and stained concrete stucco. After thorough washing and surface preparation, we applied a clear sealer to exposed concrete areas and recoated the stucco system. The stucco received a full bonding primer followed by a satin latex finish coat, both selected for durability and performance. All products used were low VOC to ensure minimal impact on building occupants throughout the project.
