Our values

What we stand for.

Five generations of painters have taught us that how you do the work matters as much as the finish.

Sustainability
We prepare surfaces properly and choose the right coating for each one, so the work lasts and a building goes longer between repaints.
Environmental care
We keep our sites clean and handle hazardous materials with care. On lead paint, we follow the legal requirements for abatement before recoating. On an occupied extended care home, every product we used was low VOC.
Accountability
We take responsibility for our work. We say what we will do, keep you updated on progress, and deal with problems directly when they come up.
Dignity and respect
We treat clients, tenants, the public and each other with dignity and respect, on every site.
Safety
Our crews are always harnessed in boom lifts, and we use controlled access zones around public work areas in buildings that stay open.

Giving back

We support local and global not-for-profit organizations. Where possible, we also donate our leftover paint seasonally, and the rest is recycled.

Paint supplies for a mission

We gave paint supplies to a local church's mission in the Copper Canyon, Mexico. They used them to paint a home for the kindergarten teacher of an orphanage, and two church kitchens in small villages nearby.

“Your donation allowed us to paint a number of buildings that were in need of repair.”

Diane, Director of Missions
